IRAQ --- Democrats attempted to thwart the Saddam Hussein trial at the last minute with a charge that the Bush Administration conducted a warrantless search of Hussein's spider hole when he was captured.
"We are here to protect the world from George Bush and his evil warrantless searches," said Nancy Pelosi, looking surprised. "This administration has been violating the rights of people around the world, and it's time to stop. I don't see a warrant to search the spider hole where Mr. Hussein was found minding his own business. The Democratic Party will protect you from these horrifying abuses of power. You can trust us to keep the world safe. From Bush."
